HEAT Christmas Party
The clubs first Christmas party took place on Saturday 23rd December 2006 at Seaton Carew Cricket Club and was a HUGE success.
The idea was to raise money for the club, let our hair down and have some fun as the club took a well-earned break for the festive season.
Over 80 people attended and over 100 tickets were sold, we even had a guest appearance from Middlesbrough and England Under 21 International left back Andrew Taylor who spent time with our juniors as well as taking time to hand out selection boxes and prizes.
The children then repaid the favour and awarded Andrew his very own Hartlepool HEAT Hoody and T-shirt with his Middlesbrough number printed on the back. Andrew was delighted with his gifts and even said "I can't wait to wear these for training all the lads will want one."
Andrew was so thrilled with the club he has accepted an invitation to become an honorary member as well as agreeing to attend future events. Andrew also said he will try to get down to the games to support the teams when his schedule allows him. SO look out for him at HEAT home games!
I would just like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who attended the party and especially those who helped organise it the whole evening was a massive success.
Watch out for our summer awards night….. Barbeque anyone?
