HEAT Division One Cup Winners!

Hartlepool HEAT has won its first senior silverware since the club was formed less than two years ago in 2006. The Senior Men won the Teesside League Division 1 Cup on Saturday 5th January 2008 after successfully defeating Tees Lions, Richmond Vikings and then Hornets at the Tournament held in Eston. The HEAT were runners up in the competition last season but this year went one better and lifted the trophy. New signing Ian Barrow was outstanding for his 48 points and was nominated HEAT M.V.P.
The club, still only half way into it’s second season have seen success with the junior boys and girls and now senior men. Hopefully the senior women who are currently top of the Durham League Division 1 and challenging on three fronts, the Handicap Cup, the County Cup and the League Title can emulate the other squads and bring home some silver at the end of this season.
