Heat On Fire!
After a win for Heat on Monday and one for Mariners on Tuesday both teams were confident at the start of the game.
Heat were quick into a 6-2 Lead after a scrappy 1st minute from both teams before Barnes pulled Redcar back into the game with a 3. Unfortunately the visitors would only score once more this quarter but Heat lead by Robinson, Turner and Thomas would finish with 34.
In the 2nd Heat went on to outscore Mariners two Baskets to one then with four left on clock strong defence from Heat stopped Redcar scoring and with Donnison going to work down low and Musgrove running the fast break there was no way back for Redcar.
The 3rd was all Heat again with Robinson and Musgrave working well and running the break and Barnes and Smithies adding to their totals for Mariners.
Heat switched to a Man defence for the last 10 and with Errington and Donnison on together Redcar had no answer to the height or the fast breaks of Ord and Coils.
