HEAT had been waiting for this fixture since December were they lost out to Durham in a hard fought game O.T
A five of Colmer, Robinson, Ord, McKenzie and Reed started well and took an early lead through McKenzie.
McKenzie and Colmer combined well giving HEAT a small cushion before The Knights hit back.
A Turner 3 followed by two more from Robinson helped HEAT to a 6-point lead at the end of the 1st.
HEAT made some changes and welcomed back Donnison after a small spell away but you wouldn’t have known as he and McKenzie worked well together. Then a great 2 minutes spell from Durham gave them hope and a 1 point lead. Donnison then went strong inside drawing fouls and converting, Advantage HEAT.
A great defensive performance in the 3rd by HEAT including blocks by Errington and Robinson helped Turner and Colmer combine for 21 points as Durham struggled to score.
Hall and Vaughan kept the visitors from falling too far behind with excellent shooting but with Errington cleaning up the boards at both ends of the floor and an outstanding performance by Musgrave HEAT ran out winners.
